I found my inspiration in Nigeria , where as a young boy, my mother would ask me to style her hair. Despite initially knowing little about hairdressing, I would use a comb, gel, and my creativity on her hair, often resulting in amusing mishaps with too much gel or hair cream on one side. Over time, I developed a passion for hairstyling, even shaving my father’s hair with a shaving stick (he was getting a baldie) after my mother had left Nigeria.

Eventually, I expressed my desire to learn barbering as a skill, which my parents supported wholeheartedly. Despite initial setbacks in finding the right barber shop, my determination persisted. Sadly, my father passed away during that time, but my mother, even from afar, remained supportive, enlisting the help of her brother to find a better spot.
